Drainage in the South Car Park

It’s been a bone of contention with locals for many years now. Mud, puddles and holes. Believe it or not, Council is aware and have plans to fix it. But it won’t come as a surprise to learn that it’s money that’s the real problem. The current financial situation means that funds can only be allocated in stages and prioritisation is essential. The surface of the car park will only get superficial attention while Council waits for the funding to address the significant drainage problem, and major works on Burns Road. So it’s drainage first, and action was due to commence at the end of April.
