Warren Avenue lookout renewal

The viewing platform at Warren Avenue lookout, Avoca Beach, will be demolished by the Council due to safety concerns. In its current state, the platform poses a hazard to the public.

Between 10 October to 10 November 2024 Central Coast Council sought community feedback on renewal of the lookout.

Council asked for your input to help shape the future of this space and provided various pportunities to provide feedback included a pop-up event onsite, an online survey and email submission.

Council tells us that 133 surveys were completed.

Key feedback themes:

• 94% of respondents want to see the lookout renewed

• Accessibility

• Increase size

• Lighting improvement

Council will now finalise the proposal incorporating your feedback, and will inform the community of the finalised plans in the coming months.
